Come Play with US!
Beginning on October 3, 2007, Playgroup will be meeting weekly at libraries, coffeehouses and parks throughout Milwaukee. We will always meet on Wednesday Mornings, though times and places will vary.
A doula (usually Char, but sometimes Krysta) will meet with the group, and we will brainstorm on all kinds of parenting issues, from breastfeeding to schoolwork.
In wintertime, or inclement weather, we will be meeting in Libraries or coffee houses, and cost of the playgroup will be the cost of a refreshment from our hosts. In nice weather, we will meet in parks, and the cost will be free.
Bring a friend! Everyone is welcome: Moms, Dads, Grandparents Expectant Parents, Nannies, and kids from infants through teens.
Everyone has something to add to the discussion.
We will occasionally invite speakers to come and talk about specific topics with us, especially if there is something that the entire group is having an issue with.
