First Aid and CPR Certifications
Taught by Krysta Sutterfield
Purpose:
Train lay responders to overcome any reluctance to act in emergency situations and to recognize and care for life-threatening respiratory or cardiac emergencies in adults, children or infants.
CPR Instruction includes:
- rescue breathing
- choking
- chest compression
- Most healthy children whose hearts stop do so because of choking.
- Infant CPR covers up to age 2, Child covers ages 2-12, and adult ages 12+,
with some variation based on size of the actual individual.
First aid topics include:
- Soft tissue injuries
- Injuries to muscles, bones, joints
- Sudden illness
- Heat & cold-related emergencies
- Child & infant safety checklist
- What to put in a first aid kit
- Injury prevention
If you can't make a scheduled class, Krysta will teach in your home or place of business. Class takes approximately 8 hours, & can be done in one full day, or two half days.
